M-Series Mac Monitor — a lightweight, native Apple Silicon system monitor with a configurable menu-bar readout and local-only dashboard
MMMonitor stands for M-Series Mac Monitor. It is a lightweight native system monitor for Apple Silicon Macs. Its menu-bar readout keeps CPU, memory, disk, network, battery, and thermal state visible at a glance, while the dashboard adds per-core activity, live history, storage use, top processes, load averages, and battery health.
The interface supports compact, balanced, network, and full menu-bar presets; reorderable metrics; optional CPU sparklines; rearrangeable dashboard modules; configurable sampling; launch at login; threshold notifications with quiet hours; and VoiceOver-friendly summaries. An independent settings window stays interactive while monitoring continues.
MMMonitor is local-only and requires no account, analytics, network service, privileged helper, or administrator access. Aggregate statistics come directly from macOS system APIs, monitoring data is not transmitted or automatically persisted, and diagnostic snapshots are written only when the user explicitly exports one.
Version 0.3.0 launched on 2026-08-25 for arm64 Macs running macOS 13 or later. The app is built with Swift 6, SwiftUI, AppKit, IOKit, Service Management, and User Notifications, and is released as open source under the MIT license.
